We recommend it as a must read if you want to be effective.

And that’s just what we need right now with LSTA funding in jeopardy.  It’s a great time to contact your representative and simply tall her or him to support LSTA funding through IMLS.  Email, a letter or a call all work.  Tell a story about how you’ve used LSTA funding or simply state the importance of libraries in whatever community you represent.

If you choose to email, you can send them to the staff contacts that we have identified in each office.  That gets your message to the staff person who works with libraries – staff contacts for each office  This list is also on our Committee’s web page.
