The latest issue of College and Research News features a quote by G.B. Stern which states, “Silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone.” What a profound statement and how timely. OLA’s Honors, Awards and Scholarships Committee recently announced that it is accepting applications for several awards that will be presented at the annual OLA Banquet on March 24 at Kell’s Irish Restaurant. Please take a moment and think about who you know that might be deserving of one of these awards. It doesn’t take long to write a letter of recommendation.
