People for Oregon Libraries Raises over $1300 at the OLA Conference
Join your colleagues to raise even more so we can support library-friendly candidates and library measures this coming election cycle. Your $50 (individual) or $100 (married couple) qualifies as an Oregon tax credit. So if you just paid some Oregon taxes, this is a way to fund something you believe in and pay a little less next April. You can send a check payable to People for Oregon Libraries to Janet Webster, 113 SE Bay Blvd, Newport 97365 or Nan Heim, 833 SW 11th Ave Suite 315, Portland 97205. Like us on Facebook and we’ll let you know when you can pay via paypal (coming soon).
Thanks for your support for Oregon’s Libraries. -Janet Webster

Interested individuals must fall into one of the following categories: professional librarian, teacher-librarian, library media specialist, library media assistant, certified teacher, retired librarian, retired library media assistant, retired teacher. If you are interested or have questions about OBOB or these positions, please contact outgoing OBOB chair Debbie Alvarez at oboblsta@gmail.com .
